1. Banh tam bi thit nuong (Cold udon noodles with shredded pork skin and BBQ pork balls, served with coconut milk and fish sauce), from Bau Truong at 42 John St.
2. Soursop/lychee fruit shake from Kaysone Sweets at Shop 4/59-61 Park Rd.
3. Sugar cane juice, from Thu Phuong N at 50 Park Rd.
4. Finely chopped lemon grass bought directly from the ‘grandmas’. Look out for old ladies hawking their fresh home grown produce  along John street.
5. Crispy skin chicken with dry egg noodle,  from Tan Viet Noodle House at 3/100 John st.
